It’s the last Bodysuit 23 update for Pride Month, twenty twenty six! Not that I did all that much for it. But this is the last for this year!
Also Mads is back! In the comic proper! For longer than just a single panel! Hooray! Hope y’all are ready for her shenanigans!
This past weekend I went to my parents house to celebrate Father’s Day with the family. Overall it was a pretty good time. Ate way too many hot dogs (like 4) plus a bunch of chips. Got all the Lays Fifa ones and the beer Pringles ones, which was fun to try and compare chips. Got to see all my nieces and nephews this time, with it being the first time in over a year two see two of them. Same with my brother-in-law. Also my dad didn’t say anything to piss me off for the rest of the day as he does every time I see him! Hooray!
Though later that evening my mom texted me saying that I was all quiet and junk, with me saying how I didn’t have much to contribute to the conversations in general, and her going “well you didn’t seem to try.” Anyone who’s an introvert will know how annoying it is to be told that. Doesn’t help that it’s about a 45 minute to an hour drive and driving completely exhausts me, and that I DID talk some when we were talking about movies. But my mom wasn’t there so she didn’t know. Even so it bothers me. I don’t got much to talk about but I enjoy sitting around listening to everyone else so let me have that. Though we always go outside and it was miiiiiserable outside this weekend. Hot and humid. Doesn’t matter what the weather is like we’re gonna go outside. Bleh.
But overall a decent time. Also visited my friends Saturday evening, which was very swell. Watched the last episode of The Amazing Digital Circus and Ozamu Tezuka’s Metropolis, of which I’d been meaning to see for years and year. Good movie! And good series finale for the digital circus!
Tomorrow my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are coming over to swim for this kids day my apartment is doing so I’m looking forward to that. Taking a day off from work to do it. I was worried about the weather last week as it said there was potential storms but checking today it’s clear skies in the low 90s. The perfect swimming weather!
