Happy Wednesday, y’all!
I’m going through a bit of a Hell Week this week, though thankfully it ends tomorrow. My supervisor went out on vacation so it was just me these past few days. On top of that Monday was busy on the day job side of things. It reeeaaallly sucked. On top of that I took advantage of an open full page ad slot in the second physical edition of Anime Herald to print an ad for Kat in it! A full comic page, even! And it needs to be done by the 24th so I’ve been juggling that too! It’s gonna be cool but man oh man am I tired. Currently doing laundry but once that’s done and I finish posting the comic everywhere I’m gonna spend some time inking for a few hours tonight before dinner.
My Honey and Clover rewatch has been progressing steadily. Made it to episode 18.5, so just another chunk to go before I’m finished with season 1. Debating whether to start season 2 right away or go watch something else instead and come back to it on a later date. But if by the time I get there and I’m still in the mood I’ll just continue. I’ve really been enjoying the low stakes shoujo drama dashed with comedy. It’s nice and relaxing.
Planning on visiting family on Sunday for father’s day, so wish me luck with that. Then next Thursday my apartment is having a kids day thing for a few hours at the pool. I’d been making plans to have my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew come by and visit to swim so that event happening gave us a set date to do it. There’s supposed to be pool toys brought out for kids, face painting, snacks and junk, so way more fun than what otherwise would’ve been a typical pool day.
Anyway Gene is digging through my trash bag to get at the empty can of cat food byeeeeeee!
