Does it play any sort of significance?! Not really! But I think the idea of a silent moon fits the chapter if you squint REAAAALLLY hard.
Also I haven’t done any more storyboards since last week! Fuck me! At least I got 5 weeks worth! That will give me plenty of time to get the rest done! Right?

My thanksgiving was swell. I made those two Tombstone french fry inspired crust pizzas and ate them. And my verdict is: they’re alright! Turns out the crust really is made of potatoes! I couldn’t really tell while eating the pizza, but once I got to just the crust with nothing on it then I could tell. They’re still the equivalent of cheapo snack pizzas so they aren’t anything to write home about, but as a snack pizza I enjoyed it. The two kinds were chili and cheese and bacon and cheese, both of which I added peppers and onions as a topping. Thinking back I should’ve added some hot sauce to the chili and cheese. I was tempted to bust out a bottle of ketchup for the crust, but eh.
I finished Mon Colle Knights, which was a joy. Turns out the voice actor for Ikuzus from Ryu Knight is the main antagonist in Mon Colle Knights, so it was neat hearing him and recognizing his voice! Tried watching some of the dub again, but man I dunno. I can’t quite gel with it. With it out of the way I’m thinking of going back to Medabots and finishing the first season of that as I made it past the halfway point back during the summer.
In other news my birthday is coming up in two weeks! This year it lands on a Monday (the 15th) which sucks. Since B23 is starting up again I doubt I’ll take the week off from comic work and just go ahead and do it. I’ll have prep work for Kat to do as well, though that Saturday on the 20th there’s going to be a Kat Christmas Special drawn by Cooper for those interested! So in a way I’ll have less work to do since any art related stuff is already done.
But also no real point in taking time off from the comic if I’m just gonna go to work like usual anyway. And if I’m gonna be at work like usual I might as well get comic stuff done!

Yes! I love Gokudo, and immediately got the reference.
Especially like that song. Wake Up is pretty good too, but by the time Silent Moon comes along, you’re well into the story.
