Between Chapter Break – Frieren

This week’s drawing is Frieren. I read about 5ish volumes back a few years ago when it was coming out but then fell off. Always meant to get back to it but haven’t yet. I also have no interest in watching the anime adaptation since I started with the manga.

My apartment started a art club last week, which I went to the first meeting. Not a whole lot happened but I did manage to break out of my shell and talk to some people. Helped I had a frozen margarita at the start of it to loosen me up. Someone I met there talked about another club called the DFW Doodle Club, saying that I might be interested in that with them having a gallery over at the Dallas Museum of Art starting this Sunday. I’m planning on checking it out.

In other news I’m tired. Despite being between chapters Kat is totally kicking my ass right now. Doesn’t help I’ve been rather sleep deprived recently, only having gotten sleeping pills the other day. I’m also coming to the realization that the max amount of hours I can work on comic stuff after work is like 2 hours before I start feeling sick. In the grand scheme of things that isn’t a whole lot, making my work day about 10ish hours. And hell, I used to go for a lot longer, too. Maybe my age is starting to catch up with me. The past few weekends have been a total wash in terms of getting shit done as I wind up laying in bed almost the entire day until night. Can barely get myself to watch or play anything during that time.

Anyway I gotta go post B23 updates everywhere and take a shower and then climb back into bed to try and get a nap in before work. Later!
