Patrick’s back! Wooo! And updated design! Woooo! Also more Doris fanservice! Wooo!
I got a swimsuit! My friend and I went to Dillard’s and went swimsuit shopping and picked something out! Wound up going with a black two piece tankini swimsuit with a skirted bottom. On Friday my friends are coming over and we’re gonna go swimming at apartment while drinking frozen margaritas! First time I’ll have swim in a pool since lord knows how long. High school maybe? It’ll be fun! Can’t wait!
The Nintendo Switch 2 is coming out tomorrow! Did anyone else preorder? I preordered through Walmart but it got hit with that fraud alert shit with Chase, so I’ve been keeping an eye on my account. Says it’s being processed with Walmart delivering it to my work tomorrow. Even though I’ll be getting it tomorrow I won’t actually be able to play it until Saturday. Thursday I’m gonna be busy with Kat since, once again, I am behind! Gotta storyboard the next episode plus color all 20ish panels tomorrow. After work I’ll be running errands, come home, sleep, then wake up at like 11pm and do late night work to get everything I didn’t manage to get done. Then Friday I’m swimming as I stated earlier, so once my friends go home I can’t imagine being in the mood dealing with the setup and will most likely watch anime or something.
Speaking of anime!
Over the weekend I marathoned the entirety of The Executioner and Her Way of Life, or as I like to call it The Executioner something something. It’s a swell yuri isekai where the protagonist is trying to kill the isekai’d girl, but romance blooms on the battlefield! Sorta! The hook is alright but the relationship between the two female leads is what sells the show. Biggest complaint is that it’s a one cour show and covers just the first two novels, where you feel like the story has only just begun. Worse yet the shows a few years old and I dunno if they’re gonna make a season 2 or not. On the plus side the light novels are available in English! Audio books, even! So on the bright side once the anime ends you can just hop on over and continue the story unlike the old days where we didn’t even get the light novels so we were shit out of luck! Watched it dubbed and it was alright. I feel like more recent Sentai Filmworks dubs are reaching the “it’s alright” levels whereas for the longest time I couldn’t deal with them. Which sucked because I thought late era ADV dubs were serviceable to decent.
