Sorry for the lack of color. I started getting sick this weekend, with it hitting the hardest the past few days. Despite taking the entire week plus a day off from work for my Vermont trip I still wound up calling in Monday because it was that bad. Forced myself to go to work on Tuesday all masked up where I filled the trashcan at my desk full of tissues. Because of it I’ve been slow with the comic work. Sorry about that! I figure what I’ll do is go to the cafe by my apartment on Saturday or the library and color it then. Get away from all the distractions at my apartment so I can focus.

Hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving last week had a good one! Mine was alright! My dad only said one thing political that made me want to die inside! He even prefaced it saying that he knows he shouldn’t say anything political that day but went ahead and said it regardless! How kind!

There was a bit of drama the day before that almost resorted to me not going at all but things were smoothed out pretty quick. Got to see the nieces and nephews plus some extended family and eat a bunch of food. I also managed to leave before they had a chance to dump a bunch of leftovers on me that I absolutely did not want to take home because I would have definitely eaten it when I got home! Once again the best menu item was my brother in law’s green bean bacon bundles. They’re awesome!

Over the weekend as I started to feel bad I did manage to play a nice chunk of Ys X, which I had been saving for when I got back from Vermont. It’s definitely a step above Ys IX in terms of side characters. Plus the island hopping is a lot more fun than the being stuck in a city gimmick from the last game. The music also hits so hard as always. Sometimes way harder than it needs to.
