Simplifying greatly: Edna Mode convinces a forcibly "Retired" female superhero that her husband is cheating on her (possibly as a ploy to start cracking the Government’s shutdown of superheroics by furthering the goals of a supervillain to the point that The Heroes will be needed again?)
Tyr explained it right, though the part about him cheating on his wife is debatable. They are tracking his super-suit, which would indicate that he’s doing secret hero work, not having an affair; but the reactions of the characters are fitting of a cheating scandal, so I understand where the perspective comes from. The similarity remains, though — "He told you one thing, but do you know where he really is?" The ice cream pun was just the cherry on top. Here’s a few-seconds YT clip. /watch?v=Z-Ij7ElJnqM&t=136s
😒Bruh, my bro Peter 😇 The Incredibles (the first movie) is 18 years old. 🧐 It was shown in theaters for the very first time in October, 24, 2004. 🥲 HOW do YOU 😢 NOT know what the REFERENCE IS? 😭
Oooh, does he have intel on Miranda?
Nah, he’s just causing chaos internally since he failed to do it externally.
Well, if you’re bored either way, might as well be bored with a friend.
i love the kind of releationship that are "hero" Vs "Villain" But they are chill about it and would like say : yo see you next week-end
Sort of like the sheep dog vs wolf cartoons on Bugs Bunny.
The reference to The Incredibles is not lost on me here, buddy. The ice cream man is pulling an Edna Mode… or, shall I say, an Edna a la Mode.
I haven’t seen The Incredibles. What’s the reference?
