I suppose it could be, but it’s more likely that it’s intended. "Up and die" is a pretty common (if informal) expression across certain regions of the United States. It’s appropriate here.
Is Doris rubbing off on Miranda? Seems NEITHER of them had sense enough to maybe wear a little something more–even a pair of socks–for extra warmth under their blankets. Oh, well. They look very cute while freezing their assets off. 😀
I think them being together like that is for the benefit of both of them. Mirandas smart is rubbing off on Doris a little, and Miranda learns not to take everything too serious and to let loose once in a while. I like to see them together like that.
Was it not "end up dying" on the 6th panel ?

Used here in Australia too.
They are starting to act like sisters a bit aren’t they😏
Yes, they do seem to be, eh? Especially that last panel, with Miranda striking a very Doris pose. (Love it!)

I wonder how weird it is to be super smart and conversing with someone who looks just like you but is a complete idiot.
I’d bet there are a lot of identical twins with an answer to that, but unfortunately I am not one of them.
If it’s Maruchan, I would’ve eaten it raw. It actually tastes somewhat better.
