Color me surprised that he’s outright telling Elaine he would enjoy crossplaying in public. I was under the impression he wanted to keep that secret from everyone, especially Elaine. I’m still sticking with my guns that Doris will stay home – we’ll see her wear the cosplay eventually, too, just not at the event. Revised prediction: she’ll make the uniform and give it to him just in time for the event, he’ll try it on as Doris in private the night before, and damage it by accident.
Is it really surprising, though? He’s crossplayed with her before, so this feels more like a relapse than him finally telling her something. Unless there’s a character Doris resembles, and he’s using this opportunity to come out to her (I haven’t watched MHA yet, so I wouldn’t know).
If i had to guess, he’s probably gonna go as Tsuyu, though it would be funny to see him begging Miranda to make him a device to let him cosplay as Hagakure
