For several months now I had several variations come and go about how this scene was gonna play out. Ever since the end of the kingdom of kids pages I haven’t been writing a script like I normally do but instead just waited until after I storyboard the art to figure out what exactly the dialogue was gonna be. Same with Kat, honestly. I’m unsure long term if I’m gonna focus less on writing scripts beforehand and instead write via storyboarding, but in terms of these action oriented pages a script hasn’t felt necessary as much. Actions and events changed depending on what all I could fit on a page, so anything I would have written months ago would most likely have been thrown out by this point.
Not much else to report this week. I saw Nosferatu, which was neat but didn’t surpass the enjoyment I got out of seeing The Lighthouse in theaters. Ice storm came and went with nothing happening outside of not going to work Friday. Last night I doodled some Galactic Dragoon Reina DRAGON design stuff and this morning talked with Cooper and settled on DRAGONs looking more like actual dragons instead of spaceships that happen to be named DRAGONs. Also they fly through space via wings and not thrusters now as I came up with a good enough lore reason as to why. That and the fact I wasn’t liking the look of thrusters on the design. Then again it’s not like I’m that great of a concept artist for fantasy space-faring vehicles. Also I still don’t know where the DRAGON’s sword go either. Guess that’s next on the to do list!

I feel like this entire arc has been a long con prediction, because now Texas, Louisiana and Florida are snowed in and in states of emergency much like this entire arc has shown
Keep in mind that back when this arc began, the 2021 Texas freeze was still fairly recent. Is it really a long con prediction if it’s just history repeating itself?

I’m pretty sure this comic takes place in the same world as Magical Girl Dallas and a Kat’s (GOD AWFUL!!!) Blessing: whether it’s magic, science, or sweet science-y magic, anything can happen. Hell, I’m surprised we haven’t encountered any Ranma-style Martial Arts and Crafts.

at this point i cant tell if this is some crazy ass dream, an hallucination, or mega just having fun with something non-cannon. if this is cannon then this universe has got a whole lot weirder in the last year

This ice cream machine is legitimately one of the most broken things in this comic so far in terms of capabilities, only rivaled by the bodysuit itself.
