Though I don’t really know what I’m preparing for seeing as how this comic can easily subvert your expectations and just throw some random nonsense at you at over a thousand miles per hour in under a nanosecond. This whole ‘pregnant disguise’ to hide the bodysuit could backfire in a hundred different ways, or it could go completely smoothly. OORRRRR, Owen snags the suit for whatever reason and runs off with it.
I would guess she doesn’t want to risk more problems with the zipper, if she can get it out another way. if it’s already starting to short out, trying to use it more will only cause more problems down the line. and we already know that owen really does know about the suit so she only has to hide it from general onlookers.
Miranda could also just wear the suit without the mask. I mean the suit IS made to replicate her completely, so it’d match her skin 1-1. Whether the suit’s fabric or latex or whatever have you, it should still look generally unappealing. Especially considering how Elaine already kinda sorta knows Miranda.
Actually, it’s a unisex bathroom. In the last page you can see the sign has both male and female symbols on it. I think the only problem would be that they both came out at the same time and how that’d look.

Because, according to Miranda in an earlier chapter, when worn by someone other than Kevin, it would look like someone wearing a blow up doll.
