Seeing the body suit without anyone in it is disturbing on more levels then I originally thought….
I know its just the suit and Kevin isn’t wearing it right now, but the angle of it makes it seem like Doris was hollowed out and left the skin for show.
I like that Miranda can see the good in Kevin, the good that not even he himself can see. That bodysuit truly is the best thing that ever happened to Kevin. I mean, look at him now, he has friends, a “job” and even has someone rooting for him and improving his character
To be fair he had 1 friend before the suit (Elaine). Now he has 1 more (Owen) and an acquaintance (Miranda, I don’t think she views their relationship as "friends" yet, and Angela isn’t exactly friends with him, but the last few chapters might be the start of one).
I also wouldn’t be at all surprised if his friendship with one of these people ends up becoming something more romantic. Time will tell which one that is, if any.
Her house is where she lived before finding Kevin as Doris. She just moved some of her stuff to Kevin’s place to better conduct her experiments and tests.
Well look on the bright side, now Kevin doesn’t have the suit to get the chance to fuck up again since Miranda’s taking it back to her ‘lab’. Tho if Kevin’s meant to cosplay a second day in a row, Elaine might be a bit let down. Still probably a lot to do at a con besides Cosplay though. Never actually been to one but those things look large as hell. Like you could get lost in a place like that.
I used to go to 2-3 conventions a year, all in the same building. Depending on which one it was, it would take me an hour or two to skim through all of the stalls (taking into account the large groups that walk slowly or just stop in the middle of the walkway, and how you can’t always see past people to look at a stall). I mainly go to them to see all the different cosplays and meet the celebrities that come and get an autograph from them (some venues might pay the celebs for their autographs so we can get them for free… but not the one I go to so I pay $30-$80AUD per autograph, depending on who it is… Kirito from SAO was $30AUD, while Stan Lee’s autograph was $150AUD).

This page is going to haunt me for a while.
Think of it as a deflated se* doll.

Question: What does she mean by apartment? I was under the impression that she only ever stayed at Kevin’s house
