  1. Kommi says:

Yeah, this is my exact experience with Texans and snow, ha.

    1. He Who Abides says:

      Happens here in Georgia too.

  2. Marg says:

Honestly, Doris! It can’t be as cold as lying in the bottom of a lake in a bikini in Winter, can it?

(And yes, "rush to the store and stock up" is a fine old Southern tradition every time Mother Nature says "Boo." LOL)

  3. Brandon says:

I live in Louisiana. Three inches would be death to us.

  4. kass says:

    Texan & snow ?

  5. Weredraco says:

I, too, have never had the joy of experiencing snow…

At best, it was a very light layer of frost on the grass and breaking a layer of ice on the dog’s water bowl… but that’s it.

  6. Rel says:

From my recollection Doris shouldn’t really be suffering becuase of the cold, have the properties of the bodysuit changed somehow?

  7. MithrilMercenary says:

    Laughs in Washington desert

    Three inches? TRY TWO FEET!

    1. Sam says:

Two feets? Try 8 feet! (Québecker here)

  8. Frith ra says:

Used to live in Alaska, currently live in Colorado. Three inches is a warm day.

  9. alessandra_gurl says:

I live in DFW. Yes, Texans can get this dumb about snow even though we do get at least a bit of the white stuff every year. And when it ices over everyone forgets how to drive.

    1. Alexis Jay says:

i can say with honest certainty we don’t forget how to drive when it ices over cause we didn’t know how to drive to begin with.

  10. Nicco says:

Three inches is nothing, us Montanans get snow that high in the Summer

  11. mattihase says:

Weird solidarity between Texas and the UK.

  12. Nope says:

When Atlanta, GA, got the Thrashers hockey franchise, there were billboards inviting everyone to “Come see the only people in Atlanta who can DRIVE ON ICE!” (Snow is rare down here, so we mostly expect paralysis.)
