Discussing your wages shouldn’t be considered impolite at all. That’s merely a ploy of companies to keep the wages down. It’s only impolite to gloat about your wage, just like it is impolite to gloat about a lot of things that make you feel superior to others.
Oh… look… here’s another threat. yaaay? If we’re going to be seeing ThreateningAngela <-> ScaredDoris with such frequency, I’ll tune-out until June and then binge from 671 onward. Bodysuit23 is my most-anticipated webcomic, but I don’t want to keep clicking just to see the same conflict in every update.
Being that Angela is now on board with what Miranda is doing with the bodysuit thing, this should tone Angela down a little bit, even if it only to satisfy her new boss Miranda, because, she can’t have Angela constantly trying to intimidate her test subject all the time. I can see that Miranda will have to have these boss to employee discussion from time to time to get Angela to comply and to put the caboose on either Angela or Kevin/Doris tell Elaine that Kevin is a part time girl and is also Doris and also Miranda test subject too. I can see Angela wanting to puck all over the place, because, she is under orders not to tell Elaine about this matter now.
"I feel like I’ve been played." Bro, have you considered the fact that you own the most high-tech object on the entire planet? (and nobody can steal it from you)
Talk about "low man (or woman) on the totem pole," poor Kevin Spencer/Doris Lang has Angela Bright as her "superior" (Miranda’s word); Angela in turn is answerable to Miranda Hayes; Dr. Hayes has had Agent Owen Stone appointed as her supervisor–and everybody has to dance to Jade Franklin’s tune. Looks like the bright spot for Doris is that Owen at least can be counted as a friend. That, and Angela, for all her annoyance with Kevin for not telling Elaine about his double-life, now finds that she is forbidden from telling Elaine either. (Whether that will make Angela a little more "understanding"–yeah, right–remains to be seen.)
It’s all part of life in the Mysterious Unnamed Agency (MUA, ha-ha).
I wonder about when Doris will snap under this increasing pressure.
Either he will start to think that he is not at fault alone and want to defend or justify himself, that there was no other way and that is how he is. Or he will think even more about how he is really at fault and this trauma will nag and eat him up from inside out, until to the point to schizophrenic behaviors. Especially the latter scenario would change him dramatically.
But since this comic is more of a lighthearted variant, probably neither will happen and dear Doris will barely change at all to the end of the half year. He will stay the same ol’ goofy guy as always.
I kinda died when i saw this series for the first time and saw that the "Main" character was names Kevin.. That felt weird but i kept reading and i just couldn’t stop.. Jokes aside the artstyle and the story are funny and amazing and i hope you continue like this. Keep up the amazing work!
Have you considered making a discord server? I feel like that would be a good idea for the community to chat with eachother
id vote for that too
but would be nice for it to be for free and not tied to patreon support
It being tied to Patreon acts as a really effective filter and makes moderating easier on me.
That’s very fair
Owen is Doris’s last hope
Help us Obi won Knobby, your our only hope!!! Help us Obi won Knobby, your our only hope!!!
And so ends another arc, and what a wonderful point in the story we’re at.
i would have imagine a develish grin on angela face
Haha "you’re wearing your payment right now" XD
Always be careful what payment you aggree to…
Angela is getting more adorable each time we see her.
oof
depending on what kinks angela gets from modeling, torturing your best friends friend as a dayjob might not be such a bad thing to do
well for angela 😛

I feel sorry for Doris/Kevin. This kind of feels like they’re bullying her/him. Hope things get better for Doris next chapter.

Doris/ kevin should have read the very fine print in the contract
Doris wearing her payment? I though shes wearing her tax dollars

My only thing is that there’s too much light in Angela’s eyes for being cold and murderous
Dude’s wearing millions of dollars worth of research and he feels like he’s been cheated.
