I mean this could be possible. We have the story of Café des Gros Durs, in which the suit’s zippers are completely concealed and can be accessed by some different method. I know that Miranda said that Kevin’s suit is the latest and a prototype at that, but it’s clear that there are more advanced suits in existence.
Miranda could have just upgraded the Doris suit from using a regulars zipper to a zip lock bag type closer in the back. If that the case, then you would have to look close to see the dividing line between the two sides of the body suit.

Now it could just bee something just to appease us fans but it could be to indicate they’re of the same universe! but regardless even if they’re not of the same universe or location, better suits with further advanced technology do exist. ah dang u rite. However, I do wanna point out one thing. The title of this chapter is called "The next test" maybe this could be the new zipper test? Considering that now Miranda realises that Kevin’s an absolute dumbass and manages to screw up everything all the time then maybe she might make an upgrade to the zipper in a similar way to Café des Gros Durs? I know they’re not of the same universe but they definitely do share some things and this could be one of them!
Of course, BS23 and CDGD could be set in completely different realities. As far as I know, there’s no linking factor between them Except that a background character at the con looks kinda like one of the CDGD characters

I remember one of the previous panels where Miranda seemed to be putting something on the zipper of the suit in the dark when she got a call.
