Actually, quitting cold-turkey is not "almost certainly" fatal for an alcohol addiction without other underlying health issues, but ir would likely make Angela wish she were dead while going through withdrawal. Physically, the worst usually is over within 72 hours. Shaking off a psychological dependency is another kettle of kazoos altogether.
The worst comes from being a very addicted alcoholic. Her abuse of alcohol to loosen up her face and cut up hasn’t been depcting her to be nearly that level of dependent.
