  1. SageM says:

I don’t really see anyway that Doris could have eased her into the truth without having to answer a LOT of questions.

Besides the fact it would also change the entire dynamic of the story, and also the Elaine got in to the place she applied for so she will soon moving away regardless if Doris reveals the truth or not.

So really, there isn’t to much point in easing Elaine into the truth either way.

    1. Forever-second says:

      A) being afraid to answer questions is equivalent to not wanting her to find out, which is begging the question on the argument that he could be okay with her finding out if he tried easing her into it. (e.g "I don’t like apples." "Have you tried baking them?" "No, that would mean I have to eat an apple, and I don’t like apples." <— this is the same kind of argument you are suggesting.)
      B) changing the dynamic of the story is a reason that breaks the fourth wall, which Megazone has chosen not to do, thus making this reason invalid.
      C) Elaine found out she was accepted to college very recently in-universe time, but he has been keeping the suit secret for much, much longer. This is entirely Miranda’s point.
      D) a lot of point to telling Elaine the truth still exists, such as not being a total dickhead to his best friend who would probably support him and maybe even enjoy it with him

      1. SageM says:

It would change the dynamic of the story because the interactions between Elaine and Doris would no longer be the same.

How exactly would Doris be able to interact with Elaine if she knew the truth? it just wouldn’t be the same anymore, their entire relationship would change.

"Would probably support him and maybe enjoy it with him". Yeah, I don’t honestly see that happening, given the fact he would basically be putting Miranda’s secret in jeopardy and also putting a target on Elaine’s back in the process.

Your theory wouldn’t work due the number of factors involved that can’t be resolved without revealing the secret behind the bodysuit, and given the fact that he would likely lose the suit in the process. The only way Doris can continue to use the suit is if the cover isn’t blown. If it is, then he loses the suit. There is no way for him to tell Elaine and keep the suit in the process. Its a catch-22.

Well done, Mr. Megazone. Well done.

  3. Core1948 says:

    Well…um…uh…wait…nope…I got nothing…

  4. Hikaro says:

I feel like this is completely one sided here. Kevin was in an impossible place when he got the suit. He had to keep it secret because, as is evident from how realistic it is and the fact it was a secret government project, if anybody knew about it, it would have created a shitstorm of societal and political issues that would have ruined the lives of Kevin and those in his social circle. He also did his damnedest to keep away from anyone he knew while wearing the suit, and only ran into Elaine by accident. He had no intention of lying to her, and shouldn’t be treated like he had all the choices in the world.

Could he have handled this situation better? Probably.

    1. Jojo says:

      I agree

  5. Hello There says:

Props to Megazone for trying to question the logic of the whole comic. Kudos for that.
But this is unfair. It’s not like Kevin has been in control of the situation… Like, ever.
He ran into the suit by accident, he ran into Owen by accident, he ran into Elanie by accident, he ran into Miranda by accident, and then Miranda dragged Kevin into this super-secret government project… but somehow it’s Kevin’s fault.
Tough it raises the question: why was Keving keeping It a secret exactly?

    1. Hello There says:

(I mean personally what were his reasons)

      1. Ykmlg . says:

He just thought it was cool or some other thing to be a girl and then he just starting wearing it. From there on everything went wrong.

        1. Ykmlg . says:

Oh wait, let me correct it.
He just thought it was cool or some other thing to be a girl and then he just started wearing it. From there on everything went wrong.

  6. Ykmlg . says:

For fucks sake m8. I see Kevin more in that suit instead without it. Be normal m8, be fucking normal.

    1. Ykmlg . says:

WAIT A DAMN MINUTE. How do I log off. I fucked it up again. Could someone please help me here

      1. Ykmlg . says:

Ok, I shouldn’t have sniffed so much of that coke bit here I am and fucked it up because I logged in and never gonna escape that. Wait, this is some kind of squarespace, right? Maybe I can log off from there. Juhuuuuu! See you never wanker’s

        1. Ykmlg . says:

Ok, I really need help now. Please

          1. Patricia Barton says:

            No clue.

          2. Ykmlg . says:

At least I use my old account and not new one

  7. Ykmlg . says:

I dont want to ruin the ehole plot of the story, but if I would be him. I would have just said ,,for fucks sake" when I got hit by that box and never touched it or even looked at it. I know this would mean nothing to this point would have happened and if you think about it he started wearing it without any reason. Think about that.

    1. Ykmlg . says:

A normal person wouldn’t do that. Trust me.

      1. Hikaro says:

His reason was curiosity. This is a genuine reason people do things in real life, and where I somehow gifted with a bodysuit in a cardboard box hitting me in the face, I can’t say I wouldn’t feel the same curiosity. The flashback to Kevin’s childhood has him expressing delight at dressing like a girl, so he’s obviously got some crossdressing tendencies, and he seems pretty gender fluid, as he likes wearing the suit and being a girl, but has absolutely no problems being his male self.

So there’s not "no reason" like you wanna think.

        1. Ykmlg . says:

You’re right to be honest, it’s about the kind of person that you are. How I said before, I wouldn’t have took the box.
          Kevin did.

          1. LightSoul says:

Personally, if I got hit by a box with the bodysuit, I would try it on too. Assuming that we have the technology of now, you wouldn’t assume that the bodysuit would lock onto your DNA, and anyway, how would it hurt? You’re basically trying some clothes on (in the sense that normal people would think it’s a normal bodysuit.)

    2. Ykmlg . says:

Can I edit that comment I wanted to say at the beginning. The whole plot but it somehow autocorrected itself to ehole

  8. Ykmlg . says:

So apparently MEGAZONE is german. I’m not in his discord server btw so dont ask me how I know that.

    1. Patricia Barton says:

I’m American and know no German outside of like 15 words, and ten of them being numbers.

      1. Ykmlg . says:

Ok then why is page 227 till page 230 translated in german without any grammatical problems. That’s a bit unusual because those are the only pages that have a german version.

        1. Patricia Barton says:

I had a friend help because I thought it’d be funny.

          1. John Chap says:

Aww, you should have continued it until the interruption mobile phone call, where Owen would have been forced to change to English. Then the last couple of speech bubble again in German to wrap up this conversation about.. the black hole? That would be funny in a genius way xD

  9. Kirby says:

Its a like for each comment
