Kevin has shown that he has days where he still wants to be Kevin. It’s moreso that Miranda will have no reason to let him have days as Kevin, and that’s scary.
While this is true, it’s also worth noting that Elaine is the only friend he has that he made friends with as Kevin. All of his other friends were people he met and befriended as Doris.
